l for film

There is no syllable for la in Japanese hiragana and katakana. Words of foreign origin that have a "l" sound in it are replaced by r.
For example
milk = miruku(ミルク)
film = fuirumu(フィルム)
television=terebi (テレピ)
building= biru(ピル)
