As I said before, if I don't practise Japanese Kanji everyday chances are I will end up with knowing no Kanji at all... So I missed it yesterday.. So hope to start reading again today.. I think if I dedicate at least 10 minutes of my time everyday I would be able to remember/recollect the kanji symbols..
I dedicate 10 minutes from now to learning Kanji...

I am trying to recollect the words..

Monday 6 June 2011

Been learning Japanese for quite sometime but only in bits and pieces.. I would start learning the hiragana and then would start with Kanji and then again take a long break and start again with hiragana- kanji and then a break again.. I stumble on interesting books to read and then again.. I don't have time and this continues...
But today I got to start again and see how long it will last... I had been reading Kanji isn't that hard! and I am in chapter 6 now. So in total, I have learnt 48 kanji at a time and when I try to revise I had already forgotten some of them.. This happens everytime I start learning Kanji.. It is like, it is easy I start completing many chapters only to realize I had forgotten most of them by the time I try to revise.. I know that I should start with some and then proceed but it is never so.. I get confused by the strokes and the imageries don't make a impact on my brain as they do in other languages... I will try to revise then 48 kanji I have learnt and then proceed to the next chapter may be tomorrow.. I should revise everyday or as usual it is just waste of time if I study for a day and then don't touch the book for a month or so... Let's see how long this madness will last....
